Tolu Balsam may be similar to the "balm" mentioned in Genesis 37:25. It has a sweet vanilla, amber, cinnamon, floral aroma. Complex and intriguing.
As it is a solid and sticky mass, it will need to be gently warmed to make it easier to work with and the finished product will need to be filtered. This resin oil can only be infused into carrier oils but is soluble in alcohol. Those who make anointing oils or perfumes will definitely enjoy this heavenly resin.
Note: This is not Peru Balsam.
Blending Suggestions: bergamot, frankincense, costus, ylang ylang, citrus oils, violet leaf and orris root.
