Desert Hyssop is used in the condiment "Zaatar" in the MIddle East and in herbal preparations. Our oil produced by a small farm in Israel has a pleasant oregano aroma.
It will need to be diluted with a carrier oil to use it properly as it will burn the skin when applied neat.
External Use Only
Blending Suggestions: bergamot, camphor, cedarwood, chamomile, cypress, eucalyptus, lavender, lemon, orange, petitgrain, pine, rosemary, tea tree, and thyme.
Suggested Uses & Properties for External Applications:
Massage Oil, Chest Rub, Balms
Anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antihelminthic
Safety:
Contraindications (all routes): Pregnancy, breastfeeding.
Cautions (dermal): Hypersensitive, diseased or damaged skin, children under two years of age.
Maximum dermal use level: 1.1%
